This is a poem about change and why it is such a vital aspect of American culture and how it is a part of us.
The United States of America
Has changed
changed by the most dedicated individuals
Individuals who are loyal to nothing
Nothing but the dream
The dream of millions
They come from a land
Where dreams are just that
Dreams forever to be lost
They made a choice
A choice to risk it all for a chance at prosperity
They came to the United States
Looking for a chance
And a chance they shall receive.
The strongest choices
Require the strongest of wills
Americans have the strongest of wills
It's a part of us
And forever will be.
