Summary

There are many ways I connect to the American creed. I connect by my Native Americans heritage, my grandparents who served, and also our grandparents who made many contributes to Kentucky.

My family connects to the American Creed because of Native American ancestors. I also connect by my grandparents who served in the military. Another way I connect to the American creed is because they grew crops for America. Overall, these are three ways I connect to the American Creed.

Native Americans are a big thing that contributes to my American Creed. My great, great, great grandfather was a Native American and his wife was Cherokee. My family believes in important values and tradition. My family also believes in respect and treating others how you want to be treated. We believe in always doing the right things even when no one else is watching.

Another thing that contributes to my American Creed is my grandparents who served in the armed forces. My grandparents believed in fighting for what you want. My grandparents always told me that they wanted to fight for our rights and freedom because they did not want us to grow up how they had to. This taught us to stand up for what we believe in.

My grandma Ethiel and papa couch owned a grocery store and a tobacco farm. I also had another grandfather who owned a bunch of corn fields and cattle. They provided service to our community by providing feed for stalk yards and cattle, they provided tobacco and the corn was somewhat of a contribute to making liquor. My nanny had chickens which helped provide eggs for the grocery store.

This is how my family connects to the american creed. We connect through multiple ways. We connect by our native american heritage. Our grandparents who served in the military and grandparents who made many contributes to Kentucky. This is my American creed.
