“One time I was running around the house with my dog playing keep away with him with a toy, and when I turned around to see how far away he was behind me as I was turning a corner, he chose that particular moment to jump up on his hind legs and open his mouth wide, and that exact moment the light from the bathroom caught his eyes and made them glow, right as his ears were flopping up so they looked really strange kinda like horns. And I completely freaked out, cause it looked like there was a horrifying monster about to attack me and I threw the toy I had at him”
“Probably Christmas day when I was younger, because when I was little something that is really nostalgic for me, it sounds weird, but when I think of Christmas, I don't think hot cocoa, or snow, or Christmas tree. Seeing those things might make me think of Christmas, but something that really sinks home and makes me feel like it’s really really Christmas is if I take my shoes and socks off and walk barefoot on the cold wood floors. Because when I was little, every Christmas morning I didn’t have house shoes or slippers back then, because I was a little soy kid who didn’t wear them. I’d get up and run out of my room into the hallway and have my bare feet running on the cold ground to my parent’s room to wake them up and drag them out of bed, and I’d run to the Christmas tree in the living room, and that was always really exciting for me. And I realized one day that when my feet were on a cold flat surface, that felt like Christmas to me. So I guess that’s a memory I would always want to preserve"
