The Rad Life of Harmony!

By Arianna P. from Academy of the Redwoods in California

“So I don’t really know what I want to be when I’m older. I take a lot of thought into it. I wanted to be a lot of things growing up. I wanted to be a vet, I wanted to work for the FBI, I wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic, but I think I really want to do something with helping animals…”

“So when I was younger, actually when I was like eight I didn’t know how to ride my bike without training wheels. And there was this boy, my mom’s roommate’s son who was a year older than me. He also didn’t know how to ride a bike without training wheels, so I said “I’ll teach you”... so I tied two jump ropes to the handlebars of my scooter … I tied one jump rope, it’s hard to explain but I tied them and then I tied the other ends to the handlebars of his bicycle and then I would ride my scooter …, and then he would ride his bike behind my scooter as I pulled him, and then he learned how to ride a bike without training wheels.”
