To me, democracy means unity. Everyone is to be included no matter any differing trait they may have like their beliefs, sex, race, and culture. This equality builds our country and welcomes diversity in bonds and people.

This is what democracy means to me. I believe that in a democracy, everyone gets an equal say. Everyone's opinion is important. I think a history class is the most accurate portrayal of what a democracy is.
