Humans of Sophomore Honors: Emma Wiegandt
I interviewed Emma Wiegandt about her ideas on human nature. Two of the questions I asked her were, "When we’re gone, how do you want people to remember you?" and " What is the most important lesson you have learned in life?".
“I feel like not a lot of people know me. I kind of keep to myself. But for the people that do know me, I want them to see me as a kind person that they can always talk to, and feel safe around. Just knowing that I really care about them.”
“The most important lesson I’ve learned from life is to keep trying and working hard at something and not focusing on the negatives like, “Oh…. I can’t do this” or “ I’m going to fail” Just trying to look at it from all the positives. I think I’ve learned that from my parents and my teachers who were encouraging me to not be so negative about something.”
