Humans of Sophomore Honors: Gabriel Martinez

I interviewed Gabriel Martinez about his happiest, saddest, and proudest moments in his life. I also asked him one thing that people don't know about him and his goals for this year.

By Joseph M. from Eureka Senior High School in California

“Something you wouldn’t know just by looking at me is that my grandpa is from El Salvador, so I am part Hispanic.”

“My goals for this year are to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and to help my football team win 8 games or more.”

“The happiest moment in my life is whenever I play sports because I love sports. The saddest moment of my life was moving away from my friends in Washington when I was little. “

“The proudest moment in my life is when I was elected a captain for my football team”
