What is the Matthew 25 field trip
The Mathew 25 field trip is a ministry built in Blue Ash, Ohio. This year West Clermont middle school is taking a trip there to tour a global village, and see life- size recreation of disaster scenes and poverty. Students also get the opportunity to volunteer, sort and pack supplies for those in need. If you didn't know, Matthew 25:Ministries is an international organization that provides essentials and supplies to the poor, and disaster victims who have been through wildfires, tornados, etc. This field trip will hopefully help kids be grateful for what they have!

The Goal
The goal of the Matthew 25:Ministries is to fulfill the verse in the Bible of Matthew 25:34-40, by providing essential resources for the poor and disaster victims. They provide food, water, clothing, shelter, and medical care. While West Clermont Middle School is taking a field trip to the Matthew 25 Ministries, we are hoping to learn the importance of helping the poor and victims of natural disasters, as well as learning how to pack and sort essentials, which is exactly the goal the ministry wants us to accomplish.

The Importance
Matthew 25: Ministries offers a helping hand to those who are in need of it the most. The 60,000 annual volunteers help provide everything from basic necessities to educational materials and nutritional supplements. Matthew 25: Ministries supply aid for over 70 countries and distribute over 25 million pounds of product to countries around the world. In Cincinnati, Matthew 25: Ministries has helped hundreds of people ranging from the homeless, at-risk youth and women recovering from abusive relationships. They improve the lives of many by helping them overcome their difficult situations.

The significance of volunteering
Taking a field trip to a place like Matthew 25: Ministries is an experience that many students could benefit from. Students will have the opportunity to face the reality of some people's everyday life and realize how a few hours of their day can change someone's life for the better.
