History Of Clough Pike Elementary

Clough Pike Elementary is one of seven elementary schools in the West Clermont School District. Of those 7 seven schools Clough Pike is ranked the #1 elementary school in the West Clermont District. This Elementary school is pretty old and it was built in 1968 and has been going strong with an average of 75% pass rate for math and 75% for reading. These test scores are pretty high considering most elementary schools have an average score of about 55%-63%. But that's enough about the scores, let's talk about the building. It has been here for a good bit of time.

The building looked very similar to what it looked like before the reconstruction of it in 2019 and the building was soon opened in 2020.

This building was the old building which was here for a long time and held lots of memories.

For the year that Clough Pike was being built we went to Brantner elementary school which was a big change for everyone at Clough Pike and Brantner because it forced both people to move. We went there for our 2019-2020 year which was unique to put it straight. It was hard to adjust to a school that we knew we couldn't get attached to but we had to because it was the most memorable year for everyone there because that was when COVID-19 hit for all of us.

In here we had the teachers that produced the highest test scores and the more the years go on the better the scores the people get. This school is ranked #1 for a good reason though not only is it high test scores but it is also super fun with many field days and many fun and in school activities and all of these really make you look forward to school there and not loath going to school. 

As someone who went to Clough Pike I want to share my experience with you. In all of years I was there it was consistently good and I asked a former student who was there in the years before me and they said what I am saying about how good the school was and how it felt very rewarding and fun to go and this school really encouraged students to go and have a good time.
