Summary

The fine arts are enjoyable and fun to all people.

The fine arts at West Clermont can help you with your public speaking fears and skills you didn’t know you had. The fine arts can help build up and get better at things you love to do. Like singing in choir to playing  an instrument of flying a flag in marching band!

“Marching band has shaped me into the person I am today. It is one of the many reasons that I want to become a teacher, the way I have made countless friends, and has been the reason I am now comfortable with the uncomfortable.” - Layla L.

“It’s a great bonding experience with your section, and it really helps with discipline and memory. The whole band is really nice and always willing to help out. I don’t know much about marching, but the directors are always willing to help you learn and see you grow. It does get really hard some days when you just can’t get something right, and sometimes what the teachers say stings just a little, but looking back after the season I wouldn’t trade marching band for the world, even if it is a real challenge."-Keira K

Theater

“I've been doing it my entire life so I can't imagine life without theater. It helped me as a person.”- Eliza M.
“I used to compare myself to the other actors in my community quite a bit because i'm more of an actor/dancer, but I used to compare myself to people who are really strong singers and i'm not a strong singer.”-Eliza M.

Color guard

"I'm so close with everyone in the community. It's a very tight knit and there are so many inside jokes."-Anonymous
“Choir has made me more personable, more friendly, and choir helps me express myself”-Simon G.
“While learning is a slow process, there is an end goal, and it will truly be beautiful.” -Simon G.
