Summary

For our democracy project I talked about how my picture of me and my friend represent democracy.

Democracy means to me that we people are basically our own government because we elect the people that run our country. Also we have the right to kick out anyone we want in government by vote. And we have the ability to have them and make decisions together. Community and democracy are related because a democracy works better with a community. Also the community will make the decisions together for the whole community.

This picture represents democracy because in a democracy people can have different opinions but still be friends. There has to be agreements to get laws of what's getting implemented. It also shows democracy because two people from different places can be totally different but agree on a topic because they know it's what's best for everyone. And that people work together for the greater good. Also that people from different viewpoints respect other people's viewpoints.
