Getting injured

Elijah talks about when he hurt his knee in football.

By Jerone S. from Zuni High School in New Mexico

“When I hurt my knee I was somewhat scared that I had really hurt it but then after about five minutes I knew it would probably be okay because I could walk on it. It’s still hard right now because I can’t run as much as I used to. It makes me frustrated because I can’t play football right now either.

If I were to ever really not be able to use my legs I think that would be severe because I like running.”
