Humans of Sophomore Honors: Christy Wilson

For my Humans of Sophomore Honors projects, I interviewed Christy Wilson. She talked a lot about her family because family is important to her, and some of the happiest moments of her life.

By Jenica H. from Eureka Senior High School in California

“The happiest moment of my life was making the decision to stay in Eureka and go to Eureka High because my mom moved to Santa Rosa. I was supposed to go to Santa Rosa High, but my mom let me stay with my friends.”

“The saddest moment of my life was leaving my mom in Santa Rosa. I have a baby brother on the way, and I don’t get to visit often, so it’s really hard being away.”

“I am Mexican, and I speak both Spanish and English. My grandparents came from Mexico to Humboldt which is why I am here. Family is everything to me.”

“I like how I am able to socialize with people and get along with them without giving bad energy.”
