Humans Of May River

In this post I interviewed a student from May River asking them questions about the community, themselves and other important questions that have something to do it.

"I engaged into doing fun school activities and mostly dance for the school. I have been apart of the may river community for about three years now. I am a student at the may river community. I would describe it very generous, understanding and thoughtful to the community. Passing all my classes with amazing teachers that I have. It is easy to get along with other students because the communication is genuine to everyone. Having more things to do in Bluffton because there is not really much to do here anymore. The Hispanic heritage month with the Native, African and Americans as well so we can celebrate other races as well with them, making a lot of people want to feel more involved and connected to the community. I want to be known as the woman who was a caring, goofy but serious, kind hearted person. I’m the type of person to always think of others before me and always try to be positive about the things around me because I believe it’s easier to live life with a good mindset. Everyone has those days where they just don’t have the energy for things and when I have those days I ignore it and find a way to be positive about the situation, especially when I’m at school.”
