What is Democracy to me?

After looking at the issues a in Lawrenceville's government, I have learned that Lawrenceville is barely functioning. We are missing a ton of positions and things are not getting done. I have also learned that the government is corrupt.

"I think I showed courage when my husband died and I didn't fall apart, and instead I just decided, you know, life was still worth living. So, I figured I could also do everything myself, which I've pretty much have and I'm still alive and kicking."

Reflection- Through this activity I learned that decisions and acts that people do or do not make effect everyone. The gas prices affected not only me but my whole family. Hopefully steps will be taken to ensure more affordable gas prices.
