Music

My passage is about music.

By Dylan from Nettleton Junior High in Arkansas

I think music is important to everyone, music can make you feel any type of way, sad, angry, excited, happy, any emotion and you get to pick what you’re listening to. I think music also brings people together in ways nothing else could because people could talk to each other about music they like and bond over it and listen to new music. Music gives people inspiration and makes many peoples careers, music is also a part of some traditions and cultures. Music is everywhere and it really makes a difference to some people. There are many types of music too like rap, country, trap, punk, rock, and many others that people listen to. Some people even listen to just instrumentals and can be a way to calm down. I listen to music everyday. It calms me down and helps me focus. I think every school should allow kids to listen to music in class. It helps with anxiety and helps people focus on their work and doesn’t let their mind constantly worry about doing bad. Music is one of the most important things to me because it helps me with a lot depending on what it is. Music is very inspiring to me and a lot of other people I’d hope.
