Improving Our Communities

Many people often want to improve their communities. And remove their impurities. One of the best ways to start off with this would be to clean up the litter and trash in your local area. Cleaning trash improves the health of the plants and wildlife around your community, while also improving the look of it.

And also, the product of certain pieces of trash can also damage the environment. Such as leftover alcohol from beer cans or caps or bottles. The leftover alcohol can disrupt the water intake of the plants, and end up destroying the plant, as well as killing microorganisms that can benefit the plant or the soil around it.

As you can see here, this sidewalk is covered in trash, and a lot of the grass around the trash is dead.

After cleaning, it looks cleaner and more appealing, it gives the grass room to grow more, and allows the environment to improve. Cleaning up trash before it becomes a bigger problem is key when keeping a healthy community. While thinking that a single piece of trash isn't much harmful, it eventually adds up to a larger pile, then\ becomes more harmful to the community.

Something that you can do once you get rid of this trash is recycle it. Oftentimes, most trash thrown out is also recyclable. So once you clean up the community, you can either recycle it or put it to a different use.

And everything in your community will appreciate it. The citizens, the soil, as well as the wildlife.
