Veterans Park in Clermont County

In loving memory of all the veterans’ that served for our country in the Vietnam war, Veterans Memorial Park in Clermont County honors these heros by celebrating their hard work and dedication. This park has all any person could ask for with a playground, walking track, pickleball courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a helicopter tribute at the entrance. As they are entering the park, everyone's eyes go straight to the large helicopter that stands near the entrance. The helicopter at the front of the park remembers and recognizes all of the people that served for our country. Anyone could go and enjoy this park with all of the opportunities and outdoor activities it has to offer.

One of the many things this park is known for is the playground. It is quite popular for children to play around and make new friends. Another one of the many things this park has to offer is the walking track. The walking track has a clear view to the playground so parents can watch their kids while getting exercise so it is beneficial to everyone. Many people will go to the park just to take either a morning or evening walk. Children also like to visit this park because of the helicopter by the entrance of the park. Next to the entrance, there are pickleball courts and many people go there to have fun. Unlike any other park, it is special because people can learn about the history of the people who fought for Americans' freedom while still having lots of fun.

Picture this. You are sitting by the fountain and you breathe in fresh air as you listen to the calming sounds of the water. Sounds nice, doesn't it? As you are entering the park, one of the first things you see, along with the helicopter, is the fountain. It is home to many animals like rabbits, squirrels, ducks, and two swans. Many people go there to reconnect with nature and get some fresh air. As you can see in the back, there is a field in the back. Children's soccer teams play there and it is not just for soccer. There is also a baseball field next to it. Anyone can come and is welcome for everyone to be active and have fun.

Lastly, the memorial services are very important to the history of the park. People line up crosses and American flags to represent all the people who have sacrificed themselves for Americans. The community surrounds the helicopter to honor all the ones who have died in the Vietnam War. Even though it was around 50 years ago, everyone still celebrates the ending of the war. 

The Veterans Memorial Park in Clermont County contributes to all of the people who died in the Vietnam war to make sure America has their freedom. Along with honoring veterans, this park has many options of activities to do. Now, you should make sure you come and visit this beautiful park!
