When we write for the purpose of sharing our teaching lives with other teachers, it helps to have a destination in mind—at least a vague landing pad. In fact, the very idea of a destination gives shape and meaning to our efforts. Talking about who we are writing for or where our writing might go once it leaves our computers is both a starter conversation and a place to be at the end of the project.
