Summary

We Are Not Free is a novel about 14 Japanese teens who are struggling in a country that refuses to accept them, and how they keep going.

This book really gave me insight about how people who were struggling were able to keep going and not give up. I liked how the author wrote each chapter about a different character. I would recommend this book to other students who want to know more about the history of the United States, and the different people who have experienced it.
