Humans of AR

A whole-hearted person

By Carson B. from Academy of the Redwoods in California

“I am not a big Christmas person, but there was this one year we were living in apartments and my grandma… was staying for Christmas with us, and I decided for the first time that my whole family should stay up until midnight so we could open our presents. I have tried to convince my family to do this every year since because of that memory. They never want to do it though. ”

”I would tell people to stop having high expectations for others. because growing up everyone had such high expectations for me and I think that crippled my ability to go and do things. I think that it’s very important to not have expectations for people that aren’t really achievable.”
