An interview with Deni a high school senior

“I was really close with my grandpa and on the first day of my driver’s license, he went into surgery and so it’s really weird, but it’s so funny to me because it was our last good memory before he passed away. I had to wipe down his back because he had to go into surgery and then we were laughing and making jokes about it and then my driving instructor got there. He looked at me with the biggest smile and waved me goodbye and that was the last time I saw him. I'll never want to forget that even though it was kind of gross it was still funny to me.”

“When we were younger, before my dad, he got in a really big accident and he can’t move like he used to, but before that every weekend we were at the beach and he bought us all our own quads and we were out at the beach every weekend. We had a trampoline and a bonfire to make food and just spend our time out there as a family and ride quads all day. I would love to always relive that.”
