Cyber bullying

Cyber bullying affects many children and adults. Many people each year take their life because of bullying. Cyber bullying usually has an effect on social media sites we use now. People use social media to comment and post horrible things about people that others spread. People don’t realize that others do have feelings and might be insecure about themselves or maybe have depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.

Megan Taylor Meier was an American teenager who died by suicide by hanging herself three weeks before her 14th birthday. Megan Meier lived in Missouri and was born in 1992. Megan was enjoyed by her family and friends and such a wonderful caring little girl. A year later Megan’s parents wanted to do an investigation into the matter of her suicide. Her death was caused by cyberbullying. 4 People cyber bullied Megan on a social site that caused her to hang herself. They pretended to be a teenage boy named Josh Evans and bullied her online after pretending to be her friend. Megan attended Fort Zumwalt public schools and also including Pheasant Point Elementary School and Fort Zumwalt West Middle School in Missouri. Megan befriended the popular girls on social sites so that the boys who picked on her would stop. Megan just wanted to make new friends and be popular. The girls soon turned on Megan and the bullying got even worse than before.
