Summary

I think you should come to South Hadley because it's very nice and I chose this topic because I want you to enjoy the animals you might see in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

There are many different kinds of animals in South Hadley. I'll tell you about some of them, like a hawk.

Let me tell you about mammals in South Hadley. Mammals are animals that breathe air, have a backbone and drink milk. Some mammals in South Hadley are dogs, bunnies, black bears, bobcats and skunks. South Hadley has two species of rabbits, the native New England cottontail, and the non-native Eastern cottontail. We have two kinds of foxes in South Hadley. The foxes are the gray fox and the red fox. My favorite is the red fox, because my favorite color is red, and also they are cute. Up next is the moose. I saw one in my backyard once. Moose are very big! Finally the small mammals have arrived: moles, skunks, opossums, and groundhogs. There are a lot of them!

Up next is birds. There are different kinds of birds in South Hadley, like the bluejay. Other birds are robins, Baltimore orioles, bald eagles black capped chickadees, American Goldfinches, and pigeons and the Canada Goose. Finally my favorite birds are the Downy woodpecker and the Hairy woodpecker. Wonder why I love them? It’s because they make beautiful sounds.

There are a lot more birds and a lot more animals in South Hadley. Be on the lookout for all the animals in South Hadley, but be careful of the bears! When they have cubs, they don’t want you to get near them. Animals are special to me and I hope you like them too! One time I saw a bear with a baby cub in my front yard. It was super cute! They went into my garage looking for food. A lot of animals need your help. I think you should come to South Hadley because it's very nice and I chose this topic because I want you to enjoy the animals you might see in South Hadley, Massachusetts. See you there! Thank you for appreciating my story.
