Summary

These are some of the great things about The Yarde Tavern, right on the Town Common.

Hello! Today I am going to talk about the Yarde Tavern! The Yarde Tavern is a restaurant located in the South Hadley Massachusetts Commons. But, I also really want to talk about the history of the Yarde. How about we get into it, shall we?

First, let's talk about their most popular meals. Number one, the Cajun Chicken Pasta, is first on the list and the price is $23.99, my mom gets it all the time. She gave me a taste and it was great! Second on the list is the Fish and Chips, the price is $22.50, their fish and chips are so good. It's so crispy and yummy! Third is the Bourbon Sirloin Tips. Their price is $29.99. I've never tried it before, but it sounds really good! Fourth is Bowl of New England Clam Chowder Soup $7, my sister had it once she let me take a sip. It was good! Fifth is The Mediterranean Veggie Burger $15, I also never had this before, but if you're a vegetarian it’s for you!

Secondly, there was a fire in the Yarde Tavern before. The fire happened on April 11, 2019. You can see the structure, the wood inside looks charred. But it’s been on its feet for quite some time now, and the food is great! You probably thought the fire took place in the kitchen, but the fire was in an apartment above the Yarde. The people in the apartment just had a cooking fire which led the fire to spread all over the building. I don’t know when the building was built but I know the restaurant opened in 2008.

Time for the conclusion! Here I told you about the Yarde Tavern and their most popular meals and how it burned down before. This piece was important to me because it meant sharing one of my favorite restaurants to the world. When it was my first communion we went to the Yarde Tavern. I remember we had a whole section to ourselves. My cousins came and my grandmas and grandpa were there. They brought out a cake, and it just brings back so much! It brightens my day to see people taking my advice and reading what I wrote, and knowing that one more person knows about the Yarde. Bye!
