The True Horror Of Amelia, OH 1803's Danham Roadhouse

Many stories about ghosts start in amelia ohio. One story that particularly caught my attention is the dunham roadhouse. Although the story is frightening and spine-chilling the information was quite difficult to gather. The story being so old starting in 1803 may have been switched around overtime. No one that I could find that was from the family left over to hand down the story.
BACKGROUND

Danham Roadhouse’s story took place in Amelia OH between the dates 1802 and 1803. Everyone was having quite the normal day when a tragic clash happened. Young Margret Tracey Found drowned in a well and her family butchered, slaughtered. Its been claimed that Indians killed the Tracey family.

NEIGHBORS & OWNERS

Also Neighbors and more recent owners have claimed to have seen young Margret and that rooms got cold within her presence. Other people have claimed that their dogs and animals wouldn't go into the house, and their baby's toys would be moved and played with.

INVESTIGATORS

The owners have even hired investigators. Even they have stated that they feel paranormal activity. One of the investigators confirmed that a younger presence was felt wondering about. Another claim that they clearly could distinguish the difference between the older and newer parts of the house even through many renovations and improvements. Yet another investigator said that she seen visions of a spine flickering image of the young girl drowning in the well. Even people have reported feeling eerie and spine chilled around the house even though they knew nothing about it. The well was eventually filled. Although the ghost of this little girl Margaret Tracy still walks the floors of the long standing house. Investigators say she was buried in the forest around a mile away from the house.

HOW THE HOUSE IS NOW

 land that was once a farm centerpiece, before ohio was a state, is now an old house with a wonderful owner. The house is posted with NO TRESPASSING everywhere. The man wishes to be left to his life so please don't bother him. I'm sure he doesn’t want endless questioning on the topic as he knows just as much as we do.
