Campbell’s Barn & Saloon is my favorite restaurant in Amelia, Ohio.

Located at 1852 State Route 125 I love this place so much, not just because I have been coming here for as long as I can remember but because I love the environment.. The people who work there are just amazing. They are always welcoming and kind, even if they don’t know you. Every time I come in, my favorite waitress, Shelly, welcomes me with a hug. Even if she is busy, she always makes time to come say hi to me and my family.

Shelly, an employee for 16 years, said she “loves working here because she just loves the customers that come in and the people she works with.” I spoke with the Owner of the Barn, Tracy. We discussed details about the restaurant. Tracy said “that she has co-owned the Barn with her husband since 2002”. I asked her about the menu and what inspired it. She said it was “a chef named Kevin who used to work there but unfortunately passed away.” Tracy stated that “he had amazing potential and he was an amazing chef and co-worker.” She also said that before they opened she knew she wanted to specialize in their chicken and burgers.

I had the chance to speak with and interview a regular customer with her husband. They have been coming to the barn for 13 almost 14 years! I asked why they have continued coming for the last 14 years. She said “The socialization that we have with our friends here, the food, and the people who work here just make this place the best.”

Some recommendations and reviews of the food that people have given me are. chicken (any of their chicken), The Walleye, The Reuben sandwich, and The Barn burger, and the Sampler. Some side recommendations are their steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes, and their sweet potato fries. They also serve desserts. My favorite recommendation is their Apple pie.

I love If you haven't been here or tried this restaurant. I would 100% recommend going and eating here. . They are open Tuesday-Saturday. Weekday hours are 4 pm to 9 pm. On Saturdays, they are open from 12 pm to 9 pm. So go try Campbell's Barn and Saloon today! Located at 1852 State Route 125.
