Summary

The issues with how society views those with mental health issues can further cause issues for those with mental health issues, and breaking that view is the first step towards breaking the stigmas around how mental health affects people.

There are many problems that we face today and one of the most noticeable ones is views on mental health. A lot of people in recent years have taken an approach towards bringing awareness to mental health and mental health issues, but others still put it on a backburner and don’t worry about it. Not talking about and discussing the issues that people face can be some of the most difficult things for people. Keeping the populace informed on mental health and the issues that can follow is one of the biggest ways that so many stigmas around mental health can be fixed by just having the knowledge of how they affect people's work.

The next thing would be not isolating and singling out people with mental health issues to look like the villain. One of the biggest issues is making people who have issues with their mental health seem like an enigma to society is one of the most detrimental things to furthering the acceptance of mental health issues in today's society. A lot of people with mental health issues get isolated because of the issues or feel like they’re broken because of how society treats them for having an issue that they didn’t ask for. While this isolation remains there isn’t going to be a way for the stigmas around mental health to be solved and research to help manage it be found.

People feeling isolated due to how society treats those with mental health issues is one of the reasons for people not confronting or getting help with their mental health because there is a fear of being judged. Talking about these issues can help exponentially with finding a person or group to help with the issue. Another way it could be helped is by breaking the idea that going to seek professional help means that you’re broken. Just because someone is seeking help from a professional for mental health issues doesn’t mean that they are having the biggest struggle with their mental health, but means that they’re trying to better it for themselves because on person’s mental health struggle may seem small to someone who doesn’t have to live a day in their head, and how they have to deal with the issues.
