Summary

The crime rate in Johnstown is so large, that people need to stop committing crimes.

There are 251 crimes such as murder in Johnstown PA, and there are also 558 property crimes such as theft. Even with less than 20,000 people, there are still major crimes committed. If people stop committing crimes the crime rate can go down and the town can be safer for the citizens. Here are some examples of murder crimes and theft crimes; About 2-3 years ago I was at the dollar store and a lady walked in stole some candy and ran out. The cashier didn't even try to stop her that's how casual that occurs. If people stop stealing then the people who steal can be caught and prosecuted. An example of a murder crime; About 8 years ago my grandfather drove into town from Maryland to take my family and me out to dinner. After we were done eating we drove back to our home and as my sister was walking on the porch she saw a body she thought it was our brother playing games so she told him to stop messing around but she soon realized it wasn't him and this person wasn't playing. He was a 13-year-old boy running onto our porch and he was shot by somebody and he was laying down dead. The person who shot him was soon arrested and charged with his crimes but just last year in 2022 a girl a block down from my house was shot in her head and killed. She was supposed to graduate that year but she couldn't even make it to that day. If people stop these crimes families can have their kids, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. With all these crimes people are losing their loved ones so that's why the people need to stop committing crimes in Johnstown PA.
