Prompt #3 response - Mental Health

The Flight 93 passengers and crew were 40 unique individuals who stood together on 9/11 to confront terrorism. They prevented an attack that day and saved countless lives because they worked as a team. But a current problem that the world is presently facing and what we as a society can do to solve the problem is mental health. Mental health has been a big issue for a long time now and not everyone is getting the help they need and should be getting, there are many young adults and teens with depression and anxiety that they should be getting help for and should be noticed for. Now people wonder why the younger generation is so messed up at the moment, it's because kids have been taught to not cry and that they have to be a certain way to be liked by people and then they go onto social media and see post of people that fit the "Bueaty standard" and then they believe they have to be like them to be liked. People with mental health issues have been pushed to the side and ignored or called crazy so they use drugs and vapes to ignore it and end up being labeled as "cool" for it.

We should give these kids and people the help they need to get over this and get out of the state they are in so that they will be able to live a full life and not half. What we could do is give free therapy and ecolodge the kids who say something and speak up about it and try to understand how they feel. We should let them talk about it and we should be so hard on everyone for everything and every wrong they did. There should be student counseling at least once a week just as a check-in and if you believe someone is hurting or sad say something to them because they could be on the edge of their breaking point and we can't keep having these people kill themselves because we decide to ignore them and pretend they don't exist or isn't a human with feelings and a heart.
