Summary

I would describe my American creed as, opportunities, bravery, and freedom.

For My American Creed I would break it down in three words: opportunities, bravery, and freedom. It's taking action into the opportunities that were never given to my own parents and generations before me. It’s being able to actually have an education. And taking action to improve my education. It's being able to see the smile on my parents face when I tell them that I'm going to college. And having all their hard work for me actually pay off.

Bravery, is a word that I connect with my own parents. Them leaving their own homes to make a life for themselves. Wanting a better life for their children, and by doing so, they had to be very brave to leave their own family behind to be in America. It also reminds me to always be brave. It reminds me to think of the stories that are told. And to remember the brave people that were before me.

Freedom as a whole, is a way to describe America. It is a way to show how people in America live. How no one is afraid to say anything. They are all able to speak up for what they believe in. It’s a way for me and others to do what they desire. It is a word to describe what people fought for. It is one of the reasons as to why so many people come to America. To have a life for themselves and overall have freedom.
