Summary
Nikki Grimes is a well known-poet and she made a poem called ¨Sweet Sister¨ she is not literally talking about her sister shes referring to the earth and all the glory she brings. I can relate to this poem because she was getting an important message across, The message was that the earth gives us so much and we treat her horribly but we can change together.
It means a lot to me on a deeper level because we all live on earth so we should treat her wonderfully because she gives us so much.
