The MESMS Drama Club!!!
Summary
Drama club is the best. I like drama club because we do plays, practice the part we get, every Saturday we go to the middle school to make costumes and try them on. We read scripts for our part and the people who lead the drama club is ms. Holmes & dr. b. Drama club is important to me because people come to see the play like your friends and family.
Here is some information about our drama club. This year we are producing two shows: It’s a Wonderful Life: a Radio Play in December with a small cast and the Spring Musical: Beauty and the Beast, Jr. with 70 students! The Drama Club started in 2004 with a $500 grant from Michael E. Smith Endowment for Education by Mrs. Chlanda, a former Math teacher. Drama club was started because students expressed a desire to perform but we didn’t have a club to do it. How long is drama club. Some of the things I’ve learned from Drama Club are, perseverance, teamwork, self-esteem, how to read music, problem solving, rhythm, coordination, creativity, time management, organization skills, responsibility, how to be a good friend, and bravery! When we’re in Drama Club, we are part of something bigger than ourselves! It’s great to be part of a team, and be able to create something special (and magical!)
This is why I like the drama club. You should sign up for it. There are a lot of people who do drama. My cousins do drama club too. One day I went to a play that my cousins did. It was the Frozen play. I went with my mom, my sisters and my grandma. It was so cool there were cake pops, light up wands, drinks and cookies. When it ended we went to my two cousins “Good job!”, I told them that I loved the play and when I got the paper for drama I signed up and now I am doing a play with my two favorite cousins.
