Masks (Still) Hang in Our Hallway

Thinking about the changing symbolic meaning of masks over the course of the pandemic

On Memorial Day, flags identify the fallen & veterans who served—symbol of gratitude & sacrifice for democracy. Across my community, flags fly year-round on homes, pick-ups, at the road’s edge. What other aspects of democracy is symbolized?

PhotoWings' mission is to help photography to be better understood, created, utilized, seen, and saved.
