A moment when someone I know acted courageously was when my brother almost got pushed into subway tracks. We were in New York and in the subway when a man came up from behind us and tried to push my brother into the subway. At that moment a random man who was also waiting with us ran after the person that pushed my brother and made sure he didn’t come back. The guy also made sure that my brother was okay. I will remember this for the rest of my life because it reminded me that even though there are bad people in the world there will also always be good people that will stand up for what is right even if it is for random strangers that you have never met. I think that we can all learn from people like this because they are the ones protecting the people who may not have enough courage to stand up for themselves.
