By Grayson from Nettleton Junior High in Arkansas

I’m sure you have heard of the car brand Maserati. Maserati is a luxury car brand that started in Italy in the year of 1914. That would mean that today, Maserati is 108 years old. The founders of Maserati are Ernesto Maserati, Ettore Maserati, and Alfieri Maserati. The first car made by them was a racing car called the Tipo 26. (Below)

Maserati continues to make racing cars today, however a lot of the cars they make are luxury road cars. (Racing car top) (Road car bottom)

Maserati is a well known car brand all around the world. Even though it might not be as well recognized or iconic as something like Ferrari or Lamborghini, It is certainly one of the more unique brands out there. A Maserati isn’t known as the most reliable car which makes people wary of buying one. However, the chance of your Maserati malfunctioning is very low. The prices of these cars are very expensive ranging from $70,000 to $400,000! If you are looking to buy a Maserati, take your time! There is a wide range of different cars that they make.

The trident on every Maserati car is one of the most iconic features of the cars. The Maserati brothers had the idea to use Neptunes’ trident as a logo and it has stuck ever since. This car brand is iconic in the hearts of so many people around the world and continues to grow.
