Summary

In an assignment for my English class, I was assigned with taking a photo and saying what it means to me.

This photo demonstrates my perception of our democracy because it shows the contrast of our citizens. There are waves crashing like ideas clash in real life. Our democracy is a constant rise and fall of the ocean, a give and take, a compromise. Our democracy will never go without the constant crash and fall of waves, because we will always fight for what we believe in. There are sometimes points of extreme disagreement and crashing waves, but when the tide rolls out, all seems to be well.
