Summary

A huge thank you to Sandy Bradshaw and all others on that flight who sacrificed their life for the greater good.

For my prompt, I picked to write a letter to the families and friends of a victim of the 9/11 attacks. The person I chose to write a letter for is Sandy Waugh Bradshaw. Just to start off in her picture she looks like she had such a bright and kind soul. She was a flight attendant on Flight 93 and she took action to calm people and call United Airlines to warn them of what was happening. She was even reported saying they were boiling water to throw at the terrorists, which takes an unbelievable amount of strength to do because that means approaching the terrorists very closely. Sandy appeared to hold mass amounts of courage and strength in a scary situation which is something her family can forever be proud of. Sandy was also a mom to 3 kids, she was taking fewer flights so she could spend more time with them. I’m sure Sandy was a great mother and would’ve sacrificed anything for those children just like she did for the people on the plane. Overall Sandy seemed to be an all-around great person and a kind soul. I think we can all be thankful for the actions and sacrifices she had to take on the plane that day. Sandy’s actions will never be forgotten or go unappreciated. I’m so sorry for the family and friend’s loss of her bright personality. Thank you.
