Summary

A letter to Deora Frances Bodley.

Deora Frances Bodley,

You were the youngest person on Flight 93. Only five years older than me and only a junior in college. You probably had such a good time with your friends in New Jersey, and it's such a shame that your trip had to end in the way that it did. You didn't deserve that, your family didn't deserve it, no one deserved that. You had your entire life ahead of you. You had so many children you could've helped and so many books you could've read.

I hate to think about how your family must've felt, how they still feel every day, and how every day is a reminder of you. The life that you could've lived saddens me. You had so much potential that was taken way too soon and it leaves me wondering "why" this had to happen, because it didn't.

I am sorry
