Summary

A time I saw someone who had courage was when my mother had stopped my sister and her friend from getting badly injured by a vehicle.

Courage is important it can save lives. A time when I witnessed someone I know who had acted courageously was when my little sister and her friend were driving in a go-kart, and they drove into the street. The street was a bus route so it was very dangerous.

I had also taken part in helping them at first because my mother was not there at that moment, the bus was coming down the road when this took place. As the bus drove down the street my sister had pushed the gas pedal. I just happened to be right next to them on the sidewalk, so I grabbed the back of the kart. I did not have enough strength to get it back on the sidewalk, but I did get it to stop moving.

A moment later my mother showed up, and she was strong enough to get the go-kart over the curb of the sidewalk, and off the road. The bus did not see the kart so it didn't stop. That was a moment of courage I had seen before, from my mother and myself. That courage was very important because it saved people from getting very injured.
