Summary

A letter to Nicole Carole Millers Family

Dear family of Nicole Carol Miller,

I am writing from Barrackville, West Virginia, and this year we learned about September 11, 2001. Nicole Carol Miller was one of the many United Flight 93 heroes. Even though I was not there, I know that Nicole was up and ready to fight the hijackers on the plane. Nicole seems like a powerful and brave woman, who would do anything to save her fellow Americans. She sacrificed her life in an attempt to help her group and others. Nicole loved hiking, working out, and playing sports in her free time. She also played sports in school. She participated in swimming, diving, and softball. She achieved success in all of these sports, and she even won a softball scholarship in her senior year! Nicole was a college student at West Valley College and planned to transfer to California State. In 2002 she was expected to get her bachelor of arts degree, but her life was tragically ended. Her flight was sadly delayed on September 10th and was rescheduled for September 11th. Every time I see a picture of her with the biggest and brightest smile I have ever seen, it makes me smile. I know it must have been so hard to lose such a great person in your life. However without her, and the other heroic passengers and crew, many more people would have died that day. Just by reading her story I know she was a hero.

Sincerely,

Delaney Findo
