Dear family and friends of Jeremy Glick,

Recently in class we have been learning about United Flight 93. I understand how devastated you all must be. While reading I have learned that Jeremy was a really good leader. He had great leadership skills, was a really good athlete, married his high school sweetheart, had a baby, he was a judo champion, served as captain of his university’s rugby team, and wrestled in his high school years. After college he traveled to Japan to teach English, and later he worked as a sales and marketing person. Jeremy was only 31 years old. The 40 people on the plane overcame a very difficult situation. Across America, September 11th was a very bad day. Many people lost their lives during the attacks. Everyone knew that the attacks would lead to a war. The War that followed lasted 20 years. There were also big changes to the safety of air travel. He was on the plane for a business trip. He was on the phone for 20 minutes with his wife. She passed the phone to her dad because she could not listen on the phone anymore. When her dad got the phone all the voices had stopped. While reading I have learned that Jermey was a really good person. I know that you must be so devastated from the loss of your loved one Jeremy Glick.

Sincerely, Madilynn J. McCoy
