Deora Frances Bodley Flight 93 September 11th
Family of Deora Frances Bodley,
I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I have been reading some very interesting things about your daughter/sister's life. Deora was a very successful young lady and was going to college at Santa Clara University College. She had a desire to help children and animals. She planned to turn her love for children into a career as a child psychologist. She was a junior, and Deora had a loving boyfriend. She changed her returning travel plans to the earlier flight because, if not, she would have missed her first class of the semester. She took a role in helping take down the hijackers and forced the plane down. September 11th was a terrible day, but the people on Flight 93 were heroes. She helped many others be calm and controlled as this was happening. She was the youngest on the plane being 20 years old. Her mother, Debby Borza went to the Catholic church across the street and bowed down in one of the pews, she asked God where her daughter was because only he would know where she was. She said she heard a quiet voice in her head say she’s with me. Then the mother’s phone and the operator on the other end of the line confirmed Deora’s death. Around the world September 11th was a terrible and scary day for everyone. Many people were lost and people knew this would lead to war. She was an incredible young woman and had plans for her future. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Taylor
