Summary

Have you ever wanted to know how much racism affected people? Well you're in the right place.

I want to inform more people about my topic. I also want to show people that my topic is very serious and it touched more on. If this is stopped it would make the whole world better place as a whole. For example if racism wasn’t a problem President Trump wouldn’t have had to close down the government. According to usatoday.com President Donald Trump's tweet calling Omarosa Manigault Newman a "dog" and a "crazed, crying lowlife" Tuesday morning stirred almost instant outrage, many dubbing the comments sexist, racist and dehumanizing. This show how Trump is being racist and how it is affecting people. Also According to usatoday.com "Why are we having all these people from s4!thole countries come here?" This shows how Trump not only hates but doesn’t care for any other countries.

Racism is one of the biggest problems in the world today. Racism can come in many different shapes and sizes. It can be calling people mean racist names or it can be treating them differently because of how their skin color is. Here is a quote I found that perfectly explains what I just said “People often associate racism with acts of abuse or harassment. However, it doesn’t need to involve violent or intimidating behavior. Take racial name-calling and jokes as an example.” This shows how being racist can be a very small thing or a huge thing.

There are many different ways that racism can affect people. Racism is almost like bullying, if you are racially profiled too much you could even get to the point where your want to change you skin color, ethnic background or even commit suicide. This quote says “Racism can bring people to commiting suicide or changing their ethnic background.” That was just one example. Here is another example “ Black boys — even rich black boys — can seemingly never assume that they are the same.” People who say these things can change someone's life significantly.

Racism needs to be stopped. As a society people can people can stop this. One way we can do this is by making racism a very serious topic. One example of people trying to stop this is “If someone is calling you names or treating you unfairly because you of the way you look you can get help to make this stop.” Also people in the past who have tried to stop racism are Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks. We should try to bring back the ideas that these amazing people had and spread it around the world.
