My American Creed

These are my thoughts on America today.

By Kyle C. from Niagara High School in Wisconsin

America is all about freedom, and being able to express your dream, and strive for what you want to be. From back in the day, it was hard to be able to express yourself and go for what you want especially if you were a person of color or homosexual. Nowadays your American dream is much easier to grasp and pursue without being shut down and judged. Without the work of people that wanted to make America a better place we'd still be stuck in a racist country full of war and violence.
