America break up letter.

Dear America,

I am writing this letter to inform you that we are not on speaking terms. I am breaking up with you. You never talk to me, instead you just ignore me and post on social media. You talk behind my back and don't ever let me in on anything. The communication of it sucked. We were never able to get on the same track. You always done what you wanted instead of letting me help.

A core of this relationship is communicating with each other. It's one of the main focuses of who we were and what we did. It showed who we really are and defined the kind of relationship we had if we really ever had one. If we was never going to be on the same track, then it was never going to work out nor it was meant to be.

This letter was to bring attention to how powerful America can be as a nation. It was designed to point out the flaws America has right now so they can be addressed and corrected in the near future.

This is a poem that brings all my ideas about mass incarceration, the issues towards felonies' rights ,and the impact this has on the American dream in one piece of writing. I have also added an illustration I drew to further push these ideas.
