American Creed

We are divided socially, politically,religiously, and racially. The elusive nature of American creed for particularly minorities, indirectly speaks to the false notion about what American Creed is. There are many false notations regarding American Creed. That one must look a certain way and act a certain way. However, one should not be judged based on their hair or skin because our hair and skin do not define who we are as a person. Nor should your religious, political, or social background. Even Though this shouldn't be it is, based on my experience the way you look and identify instantly defines who you are and how people will treat you. We need to acknowledge the issues that america has in relation to creed showing that regardless of how much creed we have or appear to have we still face challenges

American Creed

Is it need, greed and solely for those who succeed

Or the fred

And those who bleed for our nation

American creed

Is it: Those who died in spite of our american pride

Those who cried and refused to be unclssified

And Those who remain dignified by acts unjustified

American creed is it :Those who make our nation better with their good

Those who have been told they couldn’t when they could

And Those who have been told they shouldn’t when they should
