Summary
Students analyzed poetry focusing on structure, literary devices, and theme, using the book Legacy: Women Poets of the Harlem Renaissance by Nikki Grimes, a collection and response to female Harlem Renaissance poets.
To pass quickly from sight.The metaphors used in this poem I cloud vanish,were it not for the twin.This metaphors used in this poem is the cloud vanish .Another one is my invisible as a glass pane.A LIT DEVICE used in this poem is Half-open blinds and finds barely an outline of my blue-black body.Its means in the poem it says that it is talking about the outline of a blue-black body.Two themes that are found in this poem are Street lights outside my window,imitating stars and I cloud vanish,were it not for the twin.
