Summary

I hope you will now enjoy reading and borrowing books from this extraordinary library.

Located on 2 Canal St, the South Hadley Public Library in South Hadley, Massachusetts is a fun and calm environment with lots to do and see. The SHPL is open bright and early from Monday-Wednesday 9:30 am - 8 pm, Thursday-Friday 9:30 am - 6pm, and Saturday 9:30 am - 1pm. They have books for adults, toddlers, and everyone in between which makes it a wonderful family friendly place to go when you're in need of something to do.

At this wonderful library there are programs and other events that anyone can participate in, such as the yearly summer reading program, different storytimes, cool craft programs, and more. Every single program is fun for everyone, since they range within all ages. Another cool fact is that the library cards are free, so this is a great library for trying different books of all genres. The library has four different American Girl Dolls you can borrow as well. Along with braille books, large print books, audio books, and a bunch of movies. (https://www.shadleylib.org)

I went to this amazing library to go to a storytime with my sister. The book was The Day the Crayons Quit, by Drew Daywalt. After they were done reading the book they had already prepared crayon themed art activities for every one to do. We got to glue it together, color it, and name it. Whenever I go to this magical place I feel like I can take a deep breath and relax. This library is very special to me, since I’ve gone to the SHPL since I was two years old. I've read the books, done the programs, gone to the events and I’ve even gone there just for a quiet place to do my homework. I hope you will now enjoy reading and borrowing books from this extraordinary library.
