Humans Of Sophomore Honors : Brooke Boone

For this Project, I interviewed my classmate Brooke Boone and asked her some questions. These are some of the responses that she replied with that I thought were pretty important so I chose these quotes to represent her.

By Sonia V. from Eureka High School in California

“My biggest influence are my parents because they

come from a very big background and it reminds

me of how life can be like.”

“The most important lessons that I’ve learned

in life is to not look at somebody and think that

they’re nice & go talk to them.”

“Something people wouldn’t know about me

just from looking at me is how much pain I’ve

went through.”

Our Democracy

The Our Democracy Education Project is a partnership with the National Writing Project and PhotoWings. PhotoWings' mission is to help photography to be better understood, created, utilized, seen, and saved. The project is also supported by the National Geographic Society and Catchlight, and explores the question, “What does democracy look like?” through the creation of a multimedia record of the state of local, everyday democracy today.
